If you go, I'd advise going early. That place gets absolutely mobbed by noon. -- Steve Why don't they make mouse flavored cat food? |

We usually make sure we get there just about 10:00am when they open the gates. That way we're not parked in "outter Mongolia". We don't have any kids so we don't go to all of the shows and things that they have for them. They do put on some interesting lectures/demonstrations at times. My main reason for going is to get garlic for planting in the fall, and of course to last us over the winter as well. Once you've had hardneck garlic you won't go back to that stupidmarket garlic or <shudder> especially that jarred "stuff". Good food! I keep saying that one of these days I'm gonna try the garlic ice cream but haven't yet. Maybe this year. After a good steak, onion, and garlic sandwich or something like that I'd probably never know that the ice cream had garlic in it! ;-) -- Steve Whose cruel idea was it for the word "lisp" to have an "s" in it? |
