Default Hotdog Meat Sauce Help

I'm looking for a recipe or a basis of one, for a meat sauce that contains
some liver. There was a hotdog place in town that had the best meat sauce
ever. It was famous. I know it contained ground hot dogs, hamburg, liver,
and the spices from leftover hamburg pickles. I also had an uncle who had a
recipe that contained liver, but he died and took it with him. Another
great meat sauce from the diner up the road had liver in it. The owner gave
the recipe to my mother, but she lost it. I tried duplicating the sauce to
no avail. Can anyone help??

coney island restaurants around here prepares.
Also link on page from man who owned several A&W chains and gave the
sauce recipe out.
No liver in these recipes but I am wondering when you speak of liver if
your talking about the 5 pound pre-made bricks of coney sauce that
majority of coney island restaurants here use.
You cut in large dices, add less than half full of water, cover and let
set over nite on steam table. This contains chicken livers, hearts,
guts, you name it.
Loose burger is adding on top of coney sauce. You can order bricks
online.

If its the same as we used in Ashtabula the liver taste was from a tin
of pate, but I don't have the whole recipe. I do not believe the
ground hotdogs unless you use a lot of tomato sauce or mustard.
