Maybe....? <snort> I just got some great cookbooks for
Christmas and haven't read through each of them yet; if I find
the recipe I'll post it a.s.a.p.. Likewise, please post it if
you come across it. It sounds divine!

Hi back and same to you!

I can't remember all of them (Some of them we shipped back to our
home... they're still in transit :`( ). A few of the ones that
I received just before and after the trip a

"Gifts from the Kitchen" by Schoolmate (they sell a lot of 'mini'
cookbooks
"The Maine Wild Blueberry Cookbook" by Bar Harbor Jam Company
(Some of my family went to Maine for vacation recently)
"Claud Mann's Dinner & a Movie" by TBS Superstation ('100
favorite recipes')
"Dinner & a Movie" by TBS Superstation ('includes 48 new
recipes')
"Lindy's Cookbook" put together by a local store in our town
(Lindy's) This was actually a birthday gift (Dec 20)
"The King Arthur Flour 200th Anniversary Cookbook" by King Arthur
Flour Company

I actually bought duplicates of these cookbooks because after
getting them for somebody else's gifts ... I had to get one for
myself! These include:

"The Dracula Cookbook" by Marina Polvay
"What's cooking America" by Linda Stradley & Andra Cook
"Twelve Months of Monastery Soups" by Brother Victor-Antoine
d'Avila-Latourrette

There are about 6 more books that will be arriving via UPS within
the next couple of days. WOO-HOO!!! Most of them, IIRC, are
local books from the central Florida region.

Thankfully, my spouse supports my "habit". LOL 3 of the above
are from him!

NOTE TO ROSIE: I'll try to go through my bookshelves today to see
if I have a recipe for the Vietnamese Bread Pudding.

Years ago, the Rain Forest Cafe used to serve a bread pudding
that had coconut, and apricots and maybe (?) bananas in it. It
was to die for!

Hiya, Cyndi! I received the King Arthur cookbook myself - I love it. Good
for you that your habit is supported! I love reading cookbooks. Do you have
"How To Be a Domestic Goddess" by Nigella Lawson? That one's a neat book,
with gorgeous photography.

Take care!
