Hi, All;
I found a nice recipe for pancakes a little while back that called for the usual stuff, but no milk. I found out the hard way that when you mix the dry ingredients with only a quarter cup of oil and 1 egg, you get something like pretzel dough when blended. Since the recipe's author left out milk, how much does it take to make decent pancakes? Ron -- "My life is a Testament to all the things I can do-- when I don't listen to other people." |

And based on the OP's sparce description, it's probably the right answer (one egg, oil, enough flour to make a stiff dough...) Bob |

As much as it takes to make a nice batter. That's what my mom would have said. Depends on how much flour. Maybe as much as a cup. -- -Barb, <www.jamlady.eboard.com> An update on 8/22/04; check the Fairs Fare tab. |
