Default Who Forgot the Milk

Hi, All;

I found a nice recipe for pancakes a little while back that called for
the usual stuff, but no milk. I found out the hard way that when you
mix the dry ingredients with only a quarter cup of oil and 1 egg, you
get something like pretzel dough when blended.

Since the recipe's author left out milk, how much does it
take to make decent pancakes?

Ron

You're welcome. And based on the OP's sparce description, it's probably
the right answer (one egg, oil, enough flour to make a stiff dough...)

As much as it takes to make a nice batter. That's what my mom would
have said. Depends on how much flour. Maybe as much as a cup.
