Default Moroccan Mint Tea ingredient help

There is an herb sometimes used in making mint tea--that I am trying
to figure out what it is...Moroccans call it Sheba. Does anyone know
what it is? It is kind of bitter and looks a bit like sage. I would
like to try and grow some.

Thanks.

I believe Moroccan mint tea is just a Chinese "gunpowder" tea mixed with
spearmint. Gunpowder tea is unusually strong and a bit bitter for a
green tea.

Or is this what you're looking for:

Hi,

Thanks..:-) I know about the gunpowder part. Sometimes Moroccans
like to add another herb to their tea and it is called Sheba. It
looks kind of like sage but I don't know what it is. I have a
Moroccan cookbook-"Cooking at the Kasbah" that mentions adding a
sprig of absinthe. I've been trying to look up what absinthe looks
like but all I get are pages of info on the liqueur.

Look up "wormwood" or "artemisia".

Sothernwood and tansy are related, and might be a better culinary
substitute.
