As a loyal fan, I'm sure you'll want to read this:

And please try not to comment on how much
weight she's gained recently.

What weight gain. She's in the back of the picture and looks the same to
me.

As a woman who had had more rectal exams than you can shake a stick at,
I don't think most men get more distinguished and handsome as they they
get older. There are a few that improve (I'm married to one...his face
was too gaunt in his younger days), but some women do, too. Joan
Crawford, to me, looked much better middle aged than in her twenties. I
think you are mentally skipping over, say, Alan Bates turkey neck, the
uneven balders, and the puffy blotcher. No one can tell me Van Johnson
got handsomer and more distinguished. Nor Bob Hope.

I wasn't referring to the picture -- in which she is artfully
placed behind a row of her employees.

Watch her program -- she looks a lot different in the recent
shows. A lot of older segments are being recycled in the
new shows, so you can do a then-and-now comparison.

I think she looks great for her age, which I think might be 60.

No. There are several reasons why I don't watch much TV, and Martha
Stuart is one of them.

August 3rd, what are the odds. Long, long story, but it's amusing
to me.

At any rate, I wish all of us trollops look that good at 62. And
you guys, too.

At our 20 year HS reunion (two years ago), all the guys had fat beer
bellies, were bald and greying. The women, however, kicked ass...many
of them stayed at their HS weight or close, looked gorgeous and were
more successful than the guys, too.

It's the same information found anywhere else on the web.

Every other service provider has plusses and minuses as well - it's not
exclusive to AOL.

What's really sad is when someone's so judgmental that they have to put down
others for no reason. If you wanted to take a jab at Sheldon, why didn't you
have the balls to do so instead of attacking the entire AOL service?

I have another ISP - Earthlink. But AOL is faster and easier and I like the
setup for newsgroups better than using my Agent newsreader with Earthlink. I
just don't care whether anyone's impressed with the name of my ISP.

The problem *is* your perspective. No offense, guys, but I bet most
of you looked much better when you were younger rather than older.
I saw a funny cartoon once, two old guys in the mall, pretty girl
walks by, one says to the other, funny how you become invisible when
you get older.

Just cause they looked at you when you were 20, don't count on being
a stud at 50. Distinguished or otherwise ... unless you have the
bucks, of course.

As anyone can plainly see sqwertz is a CHEAP JEALOUS ******* who has to *STEAL*
the services of an EDU account... sqwertz is a friggin' low life THIEF, plain
and simple... he's all mouth, with empty pockets.

If you'll notice, every single time you see someone harping about AOL, they're
the ones using/stealing free/low cost internet access, EDU, hotmail, or
somesuch no account account... cheap poor JEALOUS empty pocket THIEVING
*******s!

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. . . .

Well that's certainly a sweeping generalization. Guess you have to put people
down in order to feel superior instead of worrying about facts.

To point out how irrational and childish your biased opinion is.

It's my observation that 90% of automobile drivers don't have a clue how
their car works. I also observe that those 90% are often better (safer)
drivers. They are just interested in getting from point A to point B, not
in pushing their cars faster and harder.

> Anybody with half a brain can see I'm posting from a commercial ISP,

It doesn't take brains, it takes specialized knowledge. Plus, AOL hides
these kind of details from people, on purpose. You don't need to know
this stuff to make quality posts on newsgroups.

Don't be so sure. I know for a fact that AOL has some subscribers who know more
about how computers and the Internet works than probably 99% of the general
population. Say what you want about AOL, but it does bring some advantages to
the table; chief among them is simplicity. Another advantage is that its a great
testing ground for testing Internet-based applications that people develop so
that the developer can verify that AOL subscribers can use the app as effectively
as non-AOL subscribers.
