Default Garnish with tomato half- pics

I've been thinking about this garnish for about four months. It's a
horseradish-stuffed tomato.
You can see it at http://members.cox.net/mhorowit

I'd go with the white plate and keep the lettuce. As for the filling,
you sure aren't using homemade horseradish. No way could I eat a wad
that size of what I use.

What is that to the left?

That's Gefilte Fish. You are not Jewish, are you? ) That's for
idea behind the prepared horse radish and it makes a beautiful display.

I decorate my fish with carrots and parsley, under the jellied broth,
which makes the platter look like stained glass, but I like the idea
of the tomatoes much more.

Jarred gefilte [fercocktah] fish... blech!

Btw, there is nothing new or unique about using tomatoes for presentation in
that manner... I've been doing the exact same thing for many years, with all
kinds of stuffing, both cold and baked... it's actually the classic
presentation for shirred eggs.

Nope, not Jewish. Never had Gefilte Fish either. I've lead a

How about we just call you "W"... now that's un-kewl.

I know very little about food presentation, so this is a
purely aesthetic, as opposed to taste, POV: your tomato is
lovely, but I'd lose the lettuce. Drizzle a white plate with
some colorful dressing instead...
