TFM would be tellin' you himself, but his ISP isn't working well with USENET
these days. He relies on me to give him the big news. Not pullin' your
leg, Bruce. It's a match.

Well I'll be, that is Great !!!!!!! Congrats to the both of you, how cool is
that two really great folks gettin hitched almost in my backyard.
I am so bummed I haven't been on here much, it would have been fun to see
things develop.
Where do you two plan on planting yourselves? What about your honeymoon?
where you going or do you want that kept secret eh-eh. The Oregon coast is a
drive you two would enjoy immensely and if you get to Gold Beach call us and
we will do up some Salmon or whatever you two want.
Geeze I am all giddy now, when my wife wakes up she will be tickled too.
Tell TFM that the Ol' Hippie says he done good.

Hmmm. Imu isn't what I'm talking about... isn't it hali hali
(sp)? You mostly see church bbqs advertising it.

We have a restaurant down HWY 1 called ONO which claims to
be Hawaiian BBQ. In any case, the smells it emmits are
FANTASTIC so we're planning to eat there soon.

Yeah, it is over coals........I guess that's the only difference. They
usually smother the chicken with like an oyster sauce or something too. It
*is* good.

What *is* oyster sauce anyway? I know, I could look it up, but I'm
more interested in hearing opinions from real people...

But you're not asking for an opinion, you're asking for a fact...
Ask what we think about oyster sauce if you want opinions.

(If you hadn't said "I know, I could look it up, but", I doubt anyone
would have harrassed you for asking)

It's kind of a salty, thicker brown sauce that you can add in oriental
dishes to make teriyaki or stir fry. It's in the Asian section of your
supermarket.

I disagree. Kilikini calls it a "kind of a salty, thicker brown
sauce" -- other might describe it in a totally different manner.

I don't consider myself "harrassed". However, I should have said
"I could look up the ingredients, but I want to know what it
tastes like". And that, dear Bob, *is* an opinion... :-)

Can I assume that it's one of those things that adds depth to the
flavor of the dish (an idea that I'm trying to learn more about)?

Thanks Bruce. I done real good.

I can actually read newsgroups today. But they've been dysfunctional for
