I had all my Christmas shopping done early this year and really
intended to cut back. My brother had been looking for a non stick frying pan and found on at the Paderno sale at a local hardware. He raved about it and called me on Wednesday to say that they were still on sale for half price. I scooted out and bought one for my wife to give me for Christmas. We used it to make breakfast yesterday and today and are very happy with it. |

DEC2004, - I was in the Gulf dodging speed boats DEC2005,- I got back 23rd after 10 weeks at sea and pulled back out to sea 26th DEC2006,- that one was fairly good DEC2007,- We'd just gotten stateside and had huge house repair bills DEC2008,- Facing retirement and no job, stayed trim DEC2009,- new job plus retirement money, caught up many things Grin, even with that a lot of it was dead on practical stuff this year. Like, a REAL vacumn sealer that can keep up with our needs. Memory foam neck pillows as recommended by my Doc (and Don has some issues there too so won't hurt), work clothes of winter weight since I had little but blue jeans and party clothes when I retired from the Navy, warm coat for Charlotte and some new flannel PJ's. Sure there were 'toys' as well, but the bulk was purely practical. Even the Wii isnt *just* for games. Doc wants me to get a specific exercise routine item (sold out just now) to use with my back for physical therapy. (Once i have it, I make appointment with PT clinic for special training on how to use it for my needs). Pure fun though? STAR TREK, the original seris, all 3 years (grin). |

For me I simply treat as if seasoning cast iron and find them pretty non stick. I do own 2 non stick fry pans by ScanPan CTX line for induction cooking though they are hardly a good buy based on price compared to ether the Paderno or de Buyer carbon pans. I just don't care for aluminum based pans unless encapsulated in stainless. At half price though I would buy any of the Paderno line if I need a one though. -- Joe Cilinceon |

Quite a few choices. Glad you are happy with it, that is what counts. I use non-stick for cooking breakfast most days too. |

But it's one of those where you need the workout pad and an added hardware bit past just the 'num-chuk' looking hand thingie. He said the item as sold wasnt *designed* for this directly, being more a hard solid workout routine that would be *bad* for me, but does some sort of scaler level of performance and once shown how to use it right, will help out alot. > Quite a few years back when I was having constant back problems, my Physio > recommended a certain item that was advertised on TV. Oh catchup for you, MRI in late Nov with readings in early Dec shows progression of back. I had a bad incident in late Oct. The C4/C5 set got worse. (L4/L5 set holding with minimal degradation). Now the C6 isnt looking too great and the T2 has something funky going on. Lovely (sad grin). The good news is the Doc agrees there is no danger as long as I am careful and we don't need either a dual spinal fusion or a disc replacement right now as long as I can deal with it. I'm a classic for the newer technology 'spine disc replacement' (kinda like the artificial joints) but he says they are getting better and better tech with that so if we can wait 2-3 years, it will be even better. (sorry to the rest, just catching up with old friend who also has back issues. Not looking for pity). >> Pure fun though? I used to dress up as the lady Romulan Commander for conventions. |
