Default Julia Child's kitchen in the Smithsonian

Hi there RFCers. Yesterday, on a very impromptu trip to Washington, DC,
I wandered into the Smithsonian's American History Museum. While I was
there, I found the exhibit of Julia Child's kitchen where many of her
famous cooking shows were produced. If anyone is interested, I uploaded
those photos to a facebook photo album. Feel free to friend me if you're
interested in seeing those photos. I am also uploading those files, plus
many others from my DC visit to my MobileMe gallery, but that upload is
going to take a while. If anyone wants to see that photo gallery, let me
know and I will post the URL here after the upload is finished.

Nice! Just watched the Blu-ray version of the Julie and Julia movie. The
last scenes are the Smithsonian exhibit. Sweet movie! I would love to
see your photo gallery.

Here is the exhibit for her kitchen at the Smithsonian.
http://americanhistory.si.edu/juliachild/default.asp

You can see the complete kitchen and read about individual items in
it.

I don't think he knows how to post a public link... or maybe he
doesn't want to. Either way, you're out.

Stan, you can set that album E for everyone and post the link here.
I'm a Facebook newbie, so I don't know how to find that MobileMe
gallery. Directions please? Send them via a Facebook message, if you
wish.

you must not be very secure in your masculinity if you feel you must choose
your words that carefully.

Sweet is a word used by young(er) people and means "great" - like this
Me: I won a million dollars!
Son: SWEET!

Oh, yes. Here's a picture of my son.

I prefer not to allow everyone on facebook to see my photos. You can
navigate to the photos any of your facebook friends has posted simply by
looking at his or her profile, then clicking on the "photos" tab. To
view someone's facebook profile, simply click on your friend's name,
then click on the "info" tab.

Thanks for the pictures, Stan. I forgot how many copper pots
she had, what a display. Nice photos of your trip. I keep
meaning to make a trip to DC, I haven't been there since I
was a kid.

Washington, DC is one of my favorite places to visit. There's just so
much to see and do.

I thought you were posting here for non-facebook people to know about
your pictures.

Did I misunderstand? Is MobileMe part of Facebook or not?

MobileMe is an Apple mail, contact and calendar + storage and sync
product. It requires an owner subscription. Stan uploaded his photos to
the server and allowed access.
