I've never frozen any cranberries, but aren't you supposed to blanch them before freezing to stop enzymatic activity? |

Naw, I just throw the bags in the freezer (sometimes in a Ziploc if I know they'll be in there for a whiles...), they're just fine... I got eight bags in the freezer now, I got a good deal on them @ 49 cents per bag recently. Some will be used for cranberry bread, some will be made into cranberry relish...cranberry relish goes great with BBQ pork, etc. for summer cook-outs. -- Best Greg |
