I buy them fresh if I find them. If I can't find fresh I buy frozen. A few times I only made half batches of sauce and froze the rest of the berries. Then when I used the other half the sauce was just as tasty as that made with fresh. BTW..... there is a local donut chain that sells crappy coffee but their cranberry carrot muffins are terrific. I occasionally buy a carrot muffin mix (because it allows me to make a few muffins at a time) and add some frozen cranberries to the mix. |
