Default Trailer park balls

She said she was going to make "Sweedish Meatballs" from our mother's
rx. Mother being very not Sweedish and not a very good cook. When I
saw the bottle of catsup, I got nervous; when I saw the jar of grape
jelly, I got scaired. And she reached for the slow-cooker.

Result - I won't make this for company, nor for myself, but I didn't
die. There is something to be salvaged. Even in the slo-pot,
surrounded by beef-pork-turkey grease, all that sweet stuff cooked/
carmelized/burned down to something edible. With enough dilution with
traditional Sweedish steamed rice, some leftover eggrolls and some out-
of-season summer squash we celebrated Ukrainian Orthodox Christmas
Eve.
