Starts in November and carries through January. It's a choice.

The weight gain is insidious since I usually don't have access to a
bathroom scale over the holidays. I often weigh myself on return and
don't feel too bad at the results, forgetting that I've probably eaten
nothing on a longish flight.

I hate flying!

I don't need a bathroom scale to tell if I've gained 'a few pounds'; I
get the message when I just don't fit into my jeans anymore...

It would take a lot more than a few pounds to change how my clothes fit
on me. For one, I weigh a really lot to begin with; and for two, my
clothes are mostly flowing skirts and sweaters and things, not stuff
that shows every pound.

(That said, my MCINL on the first question is because I don't care what
I weigh, so sometimes I know what the number on the scale is, and
sometimes I don't.)

I don't pay any attention to my weight, therefore
MCINL.

Well, at least it was only 3 pounds this year. With DH off his bike
until the ice is gone, I'll have a walking buddy and will walk that
off in a few weeks.

Why thank you Peter. :-)
And you are correct. My timing has never yet been right to win a TFH!

Me, either - being on the left coast, I'd have to stay up *late* to
catch the next day's offering!

Cathy is pretty fair about the times she releases surveys - she tries
to give everyone a shot at the TFH. I've gotten a couple of them
myself. The trick is refreshing often enough to catch it. I've often
been in the middle of "replying" to the ng when she releases new
surveys and by the time I refresh a bazillion others have seen it and
replied.
