I'm not a waiter and my shirts do fit even if they are a larger size. There
are some jobs I'd probably not fit into. I'd not try out as a model for
Speedo bathing suits for instance.

BUT, I don't know the entire story; nor do you. There may be lot more to
this that we see in one article. I don't like to see anyone get fired, but
I've fired people for just cause many times. Until we know both sides and
the real reason, it is not possible for either of us to make a decision on
right or wrong. It is unfair to boycott any business until you know for sure
the real reason. Once I know, maybe I'll be out with the picket sign.

I ate there once, and the meal was mediocre. For dessert I had a slice of
apple pie, and it wasn't until I had already taken a bite of the pie that I
realized the apples inside the pie were moldy. I was so grossed out I went
into the mens room to throw up, and one of the patrons informed the manager I
was tossing my cookies in the mens room. When I got back to my seat, and the
manager came over and asked if I was ok, and I explained the situation, he said
"I guess we can take that pie off your bill." I told him he could take my
entire meal off the bill as I wasn't sure if I would start puking again if I
had to look at that piece of pie at my table. I got up and walked out and
never set foot in Ruby Tuesday's again.

Restaurants don't hire them in the very beginning even fast food joints.
Where my b/f works weight is an issue both for the cooks and waitress's
even though heath insurance is not offer.
When I was employed at Indiana University in Bloomington working in one
of the student quad cafeterias a prep cook one lady who had been there a
number of years was forced to apply for food stamps, as our wages
weren't even state rate she did quantify.
Supervisor alerted owner of the student cafeterias and she was fired
over this issue.
I've seen just about every reason people getting fired in the food
service industry whether legal; or illegal including being ***.

Just to give you an opinion from the flip side. The employer is in a position
where they can't say much other than "it is under investigation".

As an employer, we recently had to fire an employee for failing a background
check (which was originally sent to the wrong employer), which made her
ineligible for the job based on the state mandated requirements. She told
employees that she was fired because she had her mother's narcotic cough syrup
in her car when she was 17. Truth be told she had been arrested 4 different
times (all as an adult) and convicted or pleaded guilty. As an employer, all
we could say was that she no longer worked here.

So it is my guess that what you see in the news is totally the fired employee's
side of the store. "No comment" from Ruby Tuesday's just doesn't make good
copy.

I had lunch about a month ago at a CJ here in Phoneix with a group from
work. I ordered the grilled salmon steak which came with steamed veggies
and a potato cake. It was all delicious. The portions were not
rediculous. From what I observed of the rest of our party, some of the
portions were much too large, but everyone seemed to enjoy their food.

I'm with ya 100% here. Lets also eliminate blacks from the food service
industry. The thought of those nappy haired mo-fo's handling my food gives
me the chills. Beaners too. Can't even stand the though of those greasy
chilli bellies touching my grub. Pregnant women also. Those lactating,
lumbering, fat creatures have no business turning stomachs in their
condition (we know what they've been doing, don't we? LOL). Skinny people
too. Anorexic, sickly pricks are probably aids infected. It's long over due
to set up some reasonable standards for food servers and people with
attitudes like ours are just the ones to do it!

Use to be a Perkins in the Tidewater VA area. I don't remember
exactly what the dish was but the comment I left was "I did not think
it was possible to mess up eggs, but you proved me wrong."

Use to be a Perkins in the Tidewater VA area. I don't remember
exactly what the dish was but the comment I left was "I did not think
it was possible to mess up eggs, but you proved me wrong."
