The ingredients call for 3 egg, and later 3 egg whites. I am assuming the first "3 egg" was for 3 egg yolks? Are all three batters baked in the same baking pan, or in different pans? I have not seen Nescau in stores in the United States, but we have other brands of chocolate powdered drink mixes. Thanks for the recipe. Becca |

I am assuming > the first "3 egg" was for 3 egg yolks? That wouldn't necessarily be the case. I've seen plenty of recipes that call for whole eggs and then for just whites. Kate -- Kate Connally “If I were as old as I feel, I’d be dead already.” Goldfish: “The wholesome snack that smiles back, Until you bite their heads off.” What if the hokey pokey really *is* what it's all about? |

At Christmas, I baked one of my mother's cake recipes that uses egg yolks in the cake and not whole eggs, that is why I asked. I had a feeling the recipe asked for 3 eggs, separating the whites from the yolks. Thanks for the recipe. Becca |
