Default Koko: another pic of Orange pistachio cake.

It's great just with the tangy acidity of the orange and cinnamon syrup, but
the cream just adds a smoothness and another dimension to the overall
flavour/texture.

Ooh, that looks lovely! Did I miss the recipe for it? *goes to google
groups to look it up* Hey, at least it's useful for something.

Ah hah - I did miss that one! Oh, I see why... Someone I've kill-filed
posted to the thread before I got to read the original. Anyway, it
looks wonderful! I love the combination of orange and cinnamon, anyway,
so definitely a keeper. Thanks for sharing the recipe (and picture!),
Peter.

Thanks, friends ate the last two slices yesterday, as per the pic with a
large dollop of thickened cream..... then my mate even took the jar of
leftover syrup home with him!!!

You killfile the whole thread because someone who's in your killfile posts
to it???

I usually just killfile their 'address' and that just sends them to the
idiot bin, but leaves the thread viewable.

No worries Jen. Thanks for your comments.

While making the syrup, it calls for the juice of a couple of oranges, but
I had a fresh bottle of OJ in the fridge, and used that instead.

It must have been ok, because my mate snaffled the jar with the leftover
syrup, and is going to use it at his 'convenience' at home, over icecream
etc.
