The Berkeley Adventure was a roaring success! We started off at the
restaurant supply store, then went to the tile store and finished off
at Berkeley Bowl West. I enriched all stores and almost bought an
office chair at the consignment store next to the tile place. I had a
decidedly orange theme going at the grocery store... orange
cauliflower, golden beets and those red/orangey looking carrots.

I think I'll roast the cauliflower and maybe the beets too, but
they'll probably be a beet salad on Saturday. Not sure what I'll do
with the carrots... maybe make more carrot soup. I found three colors
of quinoa and bought some red, but I have no idea what I'll do with
that stuff.

Thanks for your advice!

I have made this quinoa salad before. It's really good.

Thanks, Ginny. I was thinking of serving quinoa as a side dish to
Moroccan Chicken this weekend (my lemons are finally fully preserved).
I was also thinking about serving those golden beets with it and was
looking at this recipe http://tinyurl.com/yceyyrl or
<http://www.organicauthority.com/organic-food-recipes/salads/roasted-organic-beet-salad-with-aged-goat-cheese.html>
I don't like goat cheese, so I'd have to change that part.

Thanks Ginny, I saved it for when I can go shopping, after the snow storm.
