Default It's cold

It's cold & windy & just plain miserable outside.

You can't seem to get warm

Hot chocolate?
Hot coffee?
Tea?
Herbal tea?
Coffee & chocolate combined? (Mocha-Java)
Coffee & Baileys?
Cafe Royal?

What then?

a steaming footbath with a built in heater (no chance of the water chilling
off), a blanket around your shoulders and a cuppa something hot (of you
choice) with a touch of a little 'sumptin, sumptin' in it.

Girlfriend/wife/dogs.

By the way, Mocha-Java is not coffee and chocolate, it is a blend of
coffees--the two major coffee ports in the early days of the coffee
trade with England were Mocha in Yemen and Java in Indonesia, and
Mocha-Java is a historical blend of coffees from those two sources.

That's what you get for moving north!

Move to Denver. It got all the way to 48deg. F today.
(Of course it's forecast to snow again on Sunday.)

Alternatively, snuggle up with a down comforter and
a warm cat.

I didn't buy any bottles of Tom and Jerry mix or Hot Buttered Rum
mixes this Christmas, so I'm still jonesing for that stuff.

I love cooking with wine.
Sometimes I even put it in the food.

The drought years caused a lot of problems, but it sure gave us some mild
winters. Just a few years ago we were sitting out on the patio on Christmas
day. While we have missed all of the huge weather the south and east have
been getting, I am still tired of the dreary winter days. Not typical for
Colorado if you were to ask me. At least the sun does not set so early now.
Once we get to March, we can get some big snow storms, but the bitter cold
is past.

Went to Del Fresco's for restaurant week the other day. They were slamming
busy! Once the got the early wave of diners out, we got seated and all was
fine. Had a very good dinner for two for $52.80. No more reservations for
restaurant week (which lasts two weeks).

Later,
Dale P

Smart girl. <g> I did not think of that initially since I consider soup
to be a food, not a drink, but I may reconsider that now. ;-)

Exercise. Movement creates heat.
