Default Dinner last night 24Mar10

With the leftover (raw) chicken thigh fillets from the night before, I made a
Balti curry served with some leftover (spicy) fried rice.... and a couple of
Naan.

Little bitta spice..... and very tasty.

Curry has to be mild for me to enjoy it. Funny, I used to love heat in
my food but I've lost my taste for it since it ends up making me hurt so
much.

If I couldn't have a spicy curry now and then, I don't think life would be
worthwhile carrying on ;-)

As for the hurt, the SO gets that if I happen to sneak onions into anything.

We both love them, but she gets severe stomach cramps and bad gas..... and I
just get *really* bad gas!!

Enough to make even *me* gag!!

Yum. We had bean burritos with cheese, tomatoes, onions, tapatio hot
sauce, and cilantro. Not exciting, but tasty. Tonight, I don't know
what I'm gonna make. I'm trying to cook up all our perishables, because
I'm leaving town for a few days, and I know from experience that James
won't bother cooking while I'm gone. He'll live on sandwiches and take-out.

I found a packet of Black Eyed Bean/peas in the pantry.... going to look
around and see what I can do with them.

Not my kink, but thanks. ;-)

Oh, he CAN cook very well, and if there's no cottage cheese for
breakfast, he'll fry himself some eggs, but he usually doesn't cook
unless I ask him to. For himself, he'd just as soon slap together a
sandwich or go down the street to the hot dog stand or the
chicken-sandwich shop.

Get him to try the French version, he'll never go back to 'ordinary' eggs

No, no, no, if there's ANY moisture in his eggs, he won't eat them. He's
not a very picky eater in general, but on this point, he will not budge. :-)

Hee! Nah. If he wants to live on sandwiches for three days, he won't starve.

Hee!

I think if he weren't looking out for his health, he'd be happy eating
hot dogs for lunch every single day. Dinner too, probably.
