If you wish to examine the matter further and elucidate the reasoning behind this, I suggest you contact the B'Nai Brith of Canada (their spokesperson is David Matas, in Winnipeg) or the Canadian Jewish Congress. They successfully lobbied the government under the limits to speech provisions of the Criminal code to prevent George Galloway from entering the country on the grounds, it turned out, that he had brought relief to people in dire need. Our pro-Israel at all costs gutless government acquiesced to their request. -- "The officer corps will forgive anything they can understand, which makes intelligence the only sin." Would Louis Farrakhan have been shouted down? Who's Louis Farrakhan? Here is the sequence of events: http://www.cbc.ca/politics/insidepol...rs-adventures- in-ottawa-so-what-really-happened-last-night.html http://tinyurl.com/yhvlbrf The indication, from Coulter herself, is that she never went to the auditorium but demurred from the safety of the Rideau Club, a goodly distance away, so your claim that she was "shouted down" is puffery and nonsense. There is also strong indication that they had decided to cancel at 5:15, two hours before the doors opened, but the university was only informed of this at 7:50. -- "The officer corps will forgive anything they can understand, which makes intelligence the only sin." Ever watched any of his interviews? I wonder how many people of almost any nationality could moderately accurately place the Seychelles on a map? I suppose you could guess if some small unnamed islands were present on a map but I would bet that, say, Mauritius would stand a chance of getting the label. Not that it really matters except to the inhabitants of the islands.
