Some folks disdain canned foods. I'm probably in the same
camp, although I have a supply of canned tuna and canned
fruit as my earthquake (northern California) fallback. I use
and like canned tomatoes and broth (low sodium).

I'm reminded of an episode of Wanted Dead or Alive
(Steve McQueen from the late 50's/early 60's). The
McQueen character goes into a general store and
sees canned peaches for the first time. As I remember
it, McQueen and the clerk marvel at this novel, modern
product.

If Globalism continues the only thing on market shelves will be "peaches."
