Default "Now I'm a farmer, and I'm diggin', diggin', diggin', diggin',diggin'."

I spent the day filling a 5' x 10' raised bed with topsoil and compost
in our community garden, then transplanting lots of strawberry plants
and various other plants. I'm sore all over. Anyone recognize the
quote in the subject header?

I don't think I've ever heard that song before. It sounds a lot like some
of their other songs.

Correct.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odds_&_Sods

The classic lyric from the album is:

You can cover up your guts but when you cover up your nuts,
You're admitting that there must be something wrong.

Uh, I think you lost me. I looked up the phrase and listened to the
song. Then I posted my response half way through it.

How is that tricky?

Don't worry about him. He's just paranoid.

Well since you didn't name the band, you could've been trying to get
me to reveal it. Google searches play heck with trivia questions.
The Odds and Sods album has some interesting material. That song,
Naked Eye, and Little Billy are high points. By 1974, The Who seemed
to have exhausted most of their songwriting potential. There'd
certainly never again be anything that even hinted at the genius of
Who's Next, which was one of the finest albums--in any genre--ever
released.

When you type "Now I'm a farmer" into Googs, the very first link
was:

<http://www.google.com/url?q=http://s0.ilike.com/play%23The%2BWho:Now%2BI%27m%2BA%2BFarmer:509728:s 28708764.8179434.9090715.1.1.79%252Cstd_f0969a23ed 1e162c71befac7965a92ed&ei=8aO8S8aPJoTSMsaLmbEH&sa= X&oi=music_play_track&resnum=1&ct=result&cd=2&ved= 0CAYQ0wQoADAA&usg=AFQjCNHqB_ZJuVqiOJpXpCfX-nLOOuBHwA>

Which is a kinda cool feature. If only Google weren't so Evil.

Back before using search engines was so ubiquitous, I used to find the
answers to the "free shipping" questions hidden in the product
descriptions of the Sierra Trading Post catalogs: "(tell us...and
earn free ground shipping on your entire order)"
I remember using Northern Light search to find a lot of those. Then
NL changed its business model http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Light_Group
, and all of a sudden Google shot into ascendancy. I've looked to see
if there was any connection between the two events, but at least there
was nothing I could find. When NL went away, I had to go looking for
another search engine, and it quickly became obvious that Google blew
the rest out of the water. Just the other day I got one of those rare
offers from sierratadingpost.com that offered free shipping with no
minimum purchase. If you've got the time to bargain shop, they rock.
