Default What's Up With An Egg On A Burger?

Indonesian fried rice is presented with a fried egg on top. Korean bibimbap
is served in a sizzling-hot stone or thick metal bowl with a raw egg inside;
the diner scrambles the egg into the rice and other stuff.

You seem to be misinformed on a number of things, which I attribute to your
high degree of stupidity.

1. Red Robin is not "fast food."

2. I am neither fat nor a slob.

3. I don't "scarf down" burgers; when I go to Red Robin I'll have JUST ONE
burger. Unlike you, with your colossal ass, who could eat fifty hot dogs and
guzzle five six-packs of Budweiser while doing so.

4. You have yet to give an answer to my question as to WHY someone would
make up menus and post them here, as you accuse me of doing. What would be
the point? Moreover, since there are PICTURES AND WITNESSES for many of
those meals, how do you reconcile your accusation with reality? Or don't you
worry about reality? I know it's sometimes difficult for you to cope, which
is why you turn to alcohol and your loathsome attempts to be promiscuous.
Fortunately, nobody wants you.

Not really. Since you live on the bottom of the planet, I took some
pity on you and posted an explanation. Anyone who lives where Vegemite
is popular really shouldn't be talking about taste buds, should they.

G'day mate.

I like tomato and bacon too, with tomato and sriracha sauces, but
caramelised onions with sugar and balsamic are a nice addition too.

Yes. Canned stuff with vinegar the predominant flavour.

Oh, noes!!! Projectile Vomit Lardass and a clueless newbie disapprove of the
fact that I've enjoyed eating at Red Robin! How *will* I recover from their
approbation?

I guess I'll just have to bear down and continue cooking better food than
either of them could even conceive.

Your laughter has the same basis as that of someone who laughs at the
belief that an elephant is a large mammal.

Whatever Red Robin may be, it is not in any sense "fast food". If you
don't believe me walk into one at noon when you have a 1 o'clock
appointment and see what happens.

Hamburger and eggs makes a nice poor man's steak-and-eggs for
breakfast. The egg yolk on the hamburger is a heart attack in the
making, so I haven't had it in years, but it tastes great on the way
down.

Yeah. I can hear it now, "You're in a hurry? You must be hungry. You
should buy our US$7.99 onion ring appetizers, or one of our other
'shareable starters' for the price of an entire meal, because we're
busy, and all the food is cooked to order. No fast food here.".

:-(

My dad likes them, so maybe we'll go there next month when I'm visiting.
I just looked up their locations, and it says they're rated:

"2009 Best Burger (Full Service) Zagat"

Their "signature" onion rings are stacked on a 12" pole from biggest
at the bottom to smallest at the top not unlike the game "Towers of
Hanoi". There are only 8 rings, though. So that's over $1 for each
lousy onion ring.

I don't know about anybody else, but I'd rather have 2 tacos from
JitB than a single onion ring. And they're completely tasteless,
IMO. They're the same foodservice onion rings you get at Hut's
Hamburgers for $3.75 for the same size order.

Can't argue with most of that, but it's 13 rings:

"The page cannot be displayed. There is a problem with the page you
are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed."

But I'l take your word for it. Is there a "small" order? I seem to
remember pricing them out and they were exactly $1 each. Maybe it
wasn't Red Robin, but some other ripoff joint.

You need to put in a zip code, find a restaurant, and click menu to see
it and they do state specifically that it's 13 rings. Looks good but
I'd be not a bit surprised based on past experience with rip-off-robin
if Burger King's were better.

Sorry about that. The URL was supposed to take you to a menu for one of
their outlets in Austin, Texas. Obviously there isn't enough
information in the URL to do that. It must have written a cookie. The
solution is either to click on "menus and locations", or just start with
the short URL:

http://www.redrobin.com/

Each location has their own menu, although offerings and prices seemed
pretty similar at the four widely disparate areas I looked at.

Towering Onion Rings®
13 rings tall, this proves we really know how to pick’em and stack’em. Sweet
yellow onions — seasoned, breaded & crisply-fried. Served with tangy
Campfire sauce and ranch dressing for dippin’.
$7.

Yes it did. I clicked your link below and it pulled the location I
had looked at earlier. At that location a burger, rings and a soda
with a 15% tip would be $23.19.

How crazy is that!

I don't think it's legal to answer that correctly. Use your best
judgment.
