Hurrah! Tell us about this new assignment, Christine.

I will be at the Kaiser in Roseville, CA. Which is sort of a town
adjacent to Sacramento, Citrus Heights.. Northeast of Sacramento. Just
about 20 minutes down the road from the Terwilligers...;)

The original part of the contract is only 7 weeks, but there is a good
chance that I can extend and be there all summer.. Assuming that both
the unit and I get along well....

Needless to say, I am excited. This will be the first year in some
time, that I will really be there for the apricot and cherry season.
Really good apricots...in the farmers markets. And good
strawberries....really ripe ones. And really good ripe
vegetables...including tomatoes, squash blossoms, and all sorts of
wonderful summer vegetables. And access to pastured meats and
poultry.

Most of my vegetarian books will be there...

Don't forget the ambrosia melons, Kandy Primo melons, and Galia melons. And
the golden raspberries. And blackberries growing all over the place.
Stockton asparagus which was cut just an hour earlier. Farm-fresh eggs. Baby
potatoes which are still moist from the soil. *Brandywine* tomatoes. You'll
learn about zephyr squash, if you don't already know.

Oh yeah, you'll like it here.

Bob

Oh, I know. I used to live in Citrus Heights... And I lived in the
bay area for a fair amount of time as well....

I am looking forward to all of that. I know some of the markets
there...and I plan on being a frequent visitor to them.

Yay--both to the job, and that it is in California.
