Default Shopped at Aldi today

I don't often get to that side of town so have only shopped there a couple
of times. I scored a spiral sliced ham that I thought was 13.31 but it had
a special that I missed that was $5 off. It was at least 7 pounds. I've
already cooked it and threw out the packaging so I can't check. I'm going to
bring a big bag of ham and the bone to mom tomorrow. She won't cook big
meats for just her, and she loves split pea soup so she'll like the ham
bone.

Funny thing about Aldi, I end up buying junk food snacky things because
they're so cheap. For dessert I had a toasted English muffin with
marshmallow cream and peanut butter. OMG, yum.

They have really good cheez doodles for 99¢ for a good-sized bag. And
European chocolates for the same price as crappy American chocolates.

(I mostly buy the onion dip, made with real sour cream, and the cheeses)

Did you flirt with any of the cashiers?

Reheated (twice) spiral sliced ham - bad idea. I've tried spiral
sliced twice and never again.

I find their dairy and eggs to be good prices, especially since they
are on my way home, and within walking distance for an evening
stroll. Produce varies, but they do keep the prices competitive with
some of the other supermarkets. The two frozen things I like are
their 1 lb packages of frozen fish (flounder, salmon, etc) and their
frozen fruit bars.

Pralinutta? Are you too cheap to buy Nutella?

Uh, no. I like trying new things. And at 2/5ths the price, it was
well worth it.

You had to quote that whole post just to add that one snarky remark?
You really are becoming quite a snide ****. Go play with your
favorite vibrator du jour and leave the adults alone.

Well, we tried it, didn't like it. Would rather pay more for Nutella.

Just saving it for posterity...

Nah, you're the expert on vibrators, and playgrounds methinks.

Oh, so you bought it once just like I did. But when you bought it,
you weren't being cheap. But *I* was.

I get it now. You're just much more superior than the rest of us.
