Having seen the food byproducts sometimes fed to
diary cattle, I'll suggest organic can be better even
at times vastly better. And I suspect many of
the organic pollutants would tend to stay in
the fatty fraction of milk i.e. butter and cream.

There is madness but it may not be what you
think. Or as someone once said, "There is
common sense and there is good sense.
Common sense is by definition 'common'
and good sense is not by definition common."
Often common sense is manufactured
by repeating the same lie often enough
to assorted audiences such that prejudices
of the bulk of population are biased in
favor of the lie.

Today it's not about organic foods anymore. It's also organic
cosmetics, organic toothpaste, even organic adult toys.

If you don't want to buy organic, then don't.

What a whiner.

If there's even a hint of reduced pesticides, "fertilizers" and other
"helpful" chemicals in my food--I'll take it!

The better question would be 'is organic really organic?' In the early days
of the organic movement, if movement is the correct word, the answer was
generally 'yes', or at least 'as organic as possible'. However, as far as
food is concerned, the FDA loosened the rules significantly under a
directive from the Bush Administration. These days 'organic' foods don't
have to live up to their name at all.
