Weird. I haven't seen a 5-lb bag of sugar in a long time and I've never seen a 3-lb bag. All I see are 4-lb bags and 10-lb bags. Domino sugar comes out of Savannah (The factory experienced a horrific explosion a couple of years ago and I briefly took care of one of their burn patients as he was being flown to the burn center) |

Huh. > Well, come on down Grasshopper, it's getting on to jamming and jelling season here in SW Loosyanna and Kroger is stocking sucar in 10 and 25 lb bags at the moment. I generally use two or three of the ten pounders during the canning season as I have no place to park a 25-pound bag. I have not seen any three-pound bags either, they do sometimes stock two-pounders though, I guess for the folks that live alone. |

Huh. > I have been waiting for sugar to go on sale to stock up for jam making this summer, but it wasn't on much of a sale anywhere around here before the holidays. (It usually is quite a bit cheaper before Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.) gloria p |

Must be a regional thing. |
