Is this book worth obtaining? Too late now - I already ordered it.
I've never seen the book except advertised on Amazon as "Other things I may be interested in" (and now it keeps offering me spatulas, too - thanks blake! ;-). But at 300+ pages I figured there must be something useful in there, so I did the impulse thing and bought the damn spatula, too. And I know exactly where to send it! -sw |

It's 340 pages or so, just like I said. But it's a half-size book, slightly bigger than your average Harlequin Romance. I guess I missed that part. I've barely cracked it, just to see if it was a Large Print book. -sw |

The first 30 day "trial" is free. I had it for 29 days and then [barely remembered to] canceled it. But I ordered 5 items during that time and got free 2-day shipping on all 5. Of course they're planning on you to forget to cancel in 29 days and charging your card for $80. Those were the only 5 items I ever ordered from Amazon. -sw |

Lee I actually bought three different ones and use all three, but the one to make soft or hard boiled eggs is the one I use the most. Makes them peel like a dream too and you put the eggs in there whole, in the shell: <http://www.amazon.com/Nordic-Ware-Mi...B0007M2BN0/ref =sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1273572192&sr=1-1> I also bought the Nordicware Microwave Omelet pan and the flat 4 cell poacher. The poacher cooks eggs in one minute flat (or less) and I make the omelet in 2 parts and it cooks in 50 seconds in my oven. :-) The poacher has a good cover and it's the only one where I get a little bit of white popping but it's no big deal. The egg shaped hard boiler does a good soft boil in 5 minutes and hard boiled in 7 minutes and no exploding eggs at all! It has an inner aluminum chamber I think that prevents that. It essentially steam cooks them. -- Peace! it is under serious consideration, and i sent it to a friend as we have been
discussing trying different ones but none looked like they would work so having a reccomendation of one that does work is excellent, again thanks, Lee "Omelet" > wrote in message news ![]() > In article >, > "Stormmee" > wrote: > > >> "Omelet" > wrote in message >> news ![]() >> > In article >, >> > "Stormmee" > wrote: >> > >> > >> >> > That microwave egg cooker is currently one of my most frequently >> >> > used >> >> > gadgets... >> >> >> >> which one did you get for the nuker? The only eggs that crack in there for me are ones with damaged shells that would have cracked with traditional boiling anyway. I really do love that silly thing! This one has an aluminum inner chamber that is protected by the plastic outer shell wall. I suspect it is that that keeps the whole eggs from exploding. The ones that crack cook eggzactly the same as damaged eggs cook in boiling water. But it's a LOT faster and easier cleanup. The only drawback (if you consider that it is a drawback) is that it cooks only 4 eggs at a time. I don't consider that to be a real issue since I just cook for two. That inner chamber does not seem to bother the microwave any either. I've been using this toy regularly now for a few months. The vast majority of the eggs do not crack and turn out perfect. I just had some soft boiled eggs for dinner a bit ago. I'm not in to tradition when it comes to my mood for food. <g> -- Peace!
