Thank you to whomever here suggested using sour cream in potato salad
instead of mayo. My wife used it, also omitting the vinegar, and it was a hit at the Mothers' Day dinner. I can't judge myself because I don't eat potato salad, but she was very pleased with the results, and will do it that way in the future. --Bryan |

Sour cream, dijon mustard, celery, sweet onions, hard boiled eggs, salt, pepper, Hungarian paprika and a tiny bit of sugar. Sounds awful to me, just not as bad as most other potato salad recipes. I really dislike potato salad. --Bryan |

Another Memphis attraction is the Brooks Museum. They have a Bougeureau there that looks alive (the little girl on the stone step). A few other nice pieces as well. --Bryan |

Start with 1 tsp. Gives a rich nutty flavor. |

Speaking of Memphis Bryan, have you seen PBS' "Roads To Memphis" ? http://video.pbs.org/video/1481821280/ I watched it the other day. It chronicles the lives of MLK Jr and that scumbucket James Earl Ray pretty well, I think. Powerful stuff! And to think, we were just kids at the time. John Kuthe... |
