Hmmm? I don't remember anyone in our family ever wiping the
clothes line? Now that I think about it I suppose it could get
dust/dirt on it from being left out. So it sounds prudent to wipe
it before hanging your clothes. But then I don't recall ever seeing
dirty marks on the cloths from where they touched the clothes line
so I guess that was really not an issue.

So I guess we were just lucky. :-)
