yes they hate it because you are cheating the government. because they
don't know about it doesn't mean it's 'not taxable.' it means you're
committing tax evasion.

There've been at least two time travel stories in which someone goes
back into the past to buy groceries.

But it now occurs to me that neither story included buying products no
longer available in the present.

It was okay, in my experience. And it probably beat living in the
1930s.

You think that barkeep reports every dollar tip... get outta here...
not only that a goodly percentage of barkeeps are working off the
books, they don't report a dime... you're the one commiting tax
evasion, mick lush.

There's an amazingly huge amount of folks who work for cash that's not
reported. Anytime you hire a tradesman to do a small fill-in job
they'll negotiate a low price for cash... even when I get my hair cut
it's cash... in seven years I've never seen my $12 get rung up and
I've never got a receipt... I've no idea what Lynn does with my
twenty, I can only hope she stuffs it in her bra,

Small farmers are still on the barter system... very little cash
changes hands between them, and what does goes right in the pocket...
do you really think every bale of hay is accounted for, every dozen
eggs ...

Well, as far as I have seen, only the interest is taxable.
I report it on the appropriate line on the 1040A.

Fortunately, Texas has no state income tax.

So you financially support US citizens who knowingly defraud the
government by evading taxes but any illegal immigrants who do the same
thing should be locked up?

Oh..... I see. US citizens have the RIGHT to screw over the rest of
country by not paying their taxes. I shouldn't mind paying more taxes
to make up the shortfall because you get a good deal by paying people
"under the table".

Yes they do... it's just not called state income tax... how do you
think the state picks pockets to run itself? It's called State
Insidious Tax, they nickle, dime, dollar yoose to death in every which
way yoose turn. What states without State Income Tax don't have is a
transparent accounting system.

i believe that is taxable as well, in the amount of the 'market value.'
the fact that virtually no one reports it doesn't make it legal:

Bartering occurs when you exchange goods or services without exchanging
money. An example of bartering is a plumber doing repair work for a dentist
in exchange for dental services. The fair market value of goods and
services received in exchange for goods or services you provide must be
included in income in the year received.

'not reported' doesn't mean 'not taxable.'

it might not be practical for the government to collect it, but you are
still liable for it.

And, I believe, in California both parties must pay sales tax on the
barter if it is for goods. I looked it up a few months ago, so I'm a
little hazy on the details. Sales tax is also payable on services if
they are an integral part of the goods (delivery charge).

Why, just the other day in this very same thread you posted that you sold

Nor your sexual proclivities... annual income has little to do with
it... an awful lot of women spend a great deal of time contemplating
how much their ass is worth and there is only one way to find out.

Even the plainest looking old bag female can turn a trick, there are
plenty of plain looking old bag males, many who can't pay $500 for an
hour with a nubile looking 20 year old but will gladly pay $50 for a
toothless BJ. Like they say in Belize, there's a stick for every
broom.

I'm not saying this is how Om earns her pocket cash but I know for a
fact it's done more often than people imagine, and much more so in
these tough economic times. Gainfully employed women (even married
women with husbands who earn a decent living) proposition their
landlords all the time to swap services for rent, a lot of women are
married to cheapskates (a word to the wise yoose cheapos, your woman
is sitting on a gold mine), and a lot of horny gals are married to men
who don't service them but they still want the cash too, it's that ego
thing how much they're ass is worth. I've been approached many times
by my tenants but number one I'm too cheap to forego my rent, and
secondly I always had all the women I could handle... I learned a long
time ago not to mix business with pleasure, I don't shit where I eat.
I also make it a point never to rent to women who I find sexually
appealing. The only time in my life I ever paid for sex was when I
was in the Navy, and it never cost very much, if $10-$15 it was a
lot... but it was interesting to try out all the different
ethnicities... was like a Whitman Sampler.

The voices told him. When the voices speak to Pussy, he forwards their holy
messages to Usenet without thought or alteration. That's what the voices
want.

My best savings tips are don't insist on having and paying for things
like a television (and the exorbitantly priced valueless "service"), a
cell phone (which you CAN do without, just like I do and people
everywhere did for years), don;t buy a lot of pachagred food, never
buy "fast food" (which unhealthy is rubbish anyway)....

etc.

I'm on planet Earth... what galaxy are you from that you don't think
sex happens... what do you think is causing all the socio-economic
woes, population explosion! Believe it or not folks have sex, and
just as often as not more so with someone other than to whom they're
married. People are unfaithful far more nowadays than they were when
I was younger, thank the cell phone and PC/birth control pills and
nipped tubes. I've seen both men and women hunkered down in their
vehicals in stupidmarket parking lots having cell phone sex... just a
couple weeks ago when I went to my favorite Crystal Palace store there
was a broad slouched down in her Suburu Forester on a cell phone with
her eyes closed and her other hand very busy in her crotch, I can
guarantee she wasn't ordering Chinese take out... I wish I had my
camera. I sat there in my Landcruiser peering directly down at her,
she never noticed me roll up. I watched for like a half a minute, was
not very interesting and the 40s something BBW wasn't at all
attractive, when I got out of my vehical and slammed the door she
jumped and tried to look all innocent when I smiled at her. With
married couples each having their own cell phone numbers and PCs makes
it very tempting and very easy to cheat. And yes, phone sex is
cheating, anyone thinks not is looney tunes... join bubba with is non
sexual BJs.

None of that explains why you said:

Add to that that I have 23 years experience, including being Hematology
section supervisor for several of those years... and am willing to work
weekends, nights (with shift differentials of $4.00 per hour) and
overtime.

Remember the so called Craig's List murder a few months back? I never had
reason to use CL, but after a conversation about it, I took a peek. I was
amazed at the personal ads for sex. Men and women wanting to hook up. It
is amazingly easy.

You've posted it here yourself- about $25/hour after 23 years of

Not to mention the salary Bell Curve chart she posted less than 24 hours
after her "that's just TMI" post. Perhaps she thinks we're all such idiots
that we can't multiply out $25 an hour annually...

Does that include shift differential? Because Sycophant has mentioned
several times that she gets shift differential. That might bump it up to
$28.50/hour or so.
