I find this hard to believe. Could it really
be true?

Yes, it's true (as much as anything is believable). The other day I
briefly watched an episode of "The Doctors" and happened to catch it
when this 'recreational activity' was spotlighted. Needless to say, all
four of the doctors abhorred the idea and activity. Wouldn't the risk
of going blind be considerable? The idiot-kid (age 21-plus ??) even
bragged on the show that he had no reason to stop (shudder!!!!) and
would continue even after hearing all the doctors' warnings & more.
Perhaps the kid might become a nominee for the Darwin Awards - who knows
?

it sounds like bullshit on the order of the supposed 'vodka tampon' craze a
couple years ago:

For sure he's one example about why our insurance rates are sky high.

Yes, that's standard practice at the Daily Mail.
I suppose we had something to do with that volcano, too.

Subtle???? It was so subtle that only extreme paranoia would detect it.
The article mentions the US twice, once where "Melissa" says tht she
heard about it going on in America, and a in a caption for a picture of
an American barmaid doing it.

On the other hand, the sherry enema case appears
to be well-documented.

but an alcohol enema actually works, from what i've read. drugs aren't
usually administered intravaginally. (maybe it's just institutional sexism
on the part of doctors.)

besides as some commenter said 'have you ever tried inserting a *wet*
tampon?'

(granted, i am not a doctor, lawyer, or indian chief.)
