Default Juicing Watermelon Without A Juicer

Subject says it all.

Is there a convenient, efficient way to juice a watermelon without a
juicer. I like the juice, but not wild about the pulp (OK, so I'm
missing out on easy fiber).

Maybe whiz it through the FP or stick blender and put it through a
cheesecloth-lined sieve?

Maybe use a citrus reamer held over a strainer? Of course, that would
work better with "corner" pieces. Slices would be harder.

Mash it in a kettle, then strain it with a nylon jelly bag. (You don't want
natural fibers because they'll absorb the juice.) I did that to make
watermelon jus for my Memorial Day menu last year.

I think quite a bit of pulp would make it
through a colander.

Why not just use a regular juicer... the kind you make juice from
carrots with?

I have one, but due to it's inactivity, I have no clue where it is. If
someone would like one, and is willing to pay whatever it costs me to
ship it, I will go to the trouble to find it (in the basement). It was
only used for about 20 pints of juicing. one of those "check it out"
kind of things. And a wife's gift, that no longer holds water.

I decided to just eat the veggies, and drink the processed juices like V8.

Any takers?

If you have a stovetop juice extractor lurking somewhere, I'll take
one of those!

You made me smile... as you usually did/do.

But I was serious.

If you'd like the device, I will go and find it, and send it to you. May
take a bit of time as the basement is not very organized. The rest of
you guys can speak up at this time also.

An immersion circulator is small potatoes. I'd beg for a freeze-drying
chamber.

Yes.

Food processor brefily, followed by medium fine strainer. There were only
about 3 TB of pulp leftover from 1/4 seedless watermelon and made for a
very refershing breakfast drink - about 16oz.

This watermelon was very sweet as it was overripe and has started to mush,
but was perfect for juicing.
