The café that services our building at work was cleaning out a lot of stuff
very quickly today. I suspect an inspection. Anywho, I happened to be
outside in the smoking section where the dumpster is while they were madly
cleaning out. When I started seeing some of the things they were throwing
away, I was shocked! Just SHOCKED I tell you. I know all of the kitchen
staff well, so the one guy that had the duty of picking up the stacks of
"trash" and carrying them to the dumpster would walk by showing me what he
had. lol They had a bunch of those stainless pans that go in a steam table
and I took one of the shallow ones that was still in good shape. Figured
based on the shape and weight it will come in handy for something. Are
those oven safe? I also got some muffin tins, and a couple of ceramic bread
loaf shaped pans in light blue with a nice design on the sides.
