I've made those, as a matter of fact I have a recipe in the rfc cookbook. They really are tasty. I stopped stuffing them the way the recipe says and started cutting them in half and stuffing them your way. The recipe I have is very similar to yours except there is minced red pepper in the stuffing. Shallot instead of spring onion. They do make a nice party snack and scarfed up is a good description for how they disappear. Love your picture. nancy |

I found it easier to get the seeds out by holding them under cold running water. koko -- There is no love more sincere than the love of food George Bernard Shaw www.kokoscornerblog.com updated 05/31/10 |

Dang, I'll have to look in the cookbook, maybe that's where I got the idea in the first place. I've been making them so long I forgot where I first heard of them. koko -- There is no love more sincere than the love of food George Bernard Shaw www.kokoscornerblog.com updated 05/31/10 |

I was rather thinking if I would bother with the red pepper next time or not, myself. nancy |

I may have to try this too or something similar. :-) Maybe make a variation of the dragon eggs usually made with jalapeno. ;-d -- Peace!
