Default Stuffed Peperoncini

Took these to the family grill out yesterday.
They were scarfed right up.

Step by step on my blog if you are interested.
All you use is one 8oz block of cream cheese per 16oz jar of
peperoncini, one spring onion and 1/4 cup bacon bits.

Easy peasy

I've made those, as a matter of fact I have a recipe in the rfc
cookbook. They really are tasty. I stopped stuffing them the
way the recipe says and started cutting them in half and stuffing
them your way.

The recipe I have is very similar to yours except there is minced
red pepper in the stuffing. Shallot instead of spring onion.

They do make a nice party snack and scarfed up is a good
description for how they disappear. Love your picture.

You are welcome, I hope you try them, they are really good.

I found it easier to get the seeds out by holding them under cold
running water.

Thanks nancy.
Dang, I'll have to look in the cookbook, maybe that's where I got the
idea in the first place. I've been making them so long I forgot where
I first heard of them.

I found it in a magazine, you could have seen a similar recipe
somewhere. I was rather thinking if I would bother with the
red pepper next time or not, myself.

I have about 1/2 of a jar of pepperoncinis in the 'frige. I may have to
try this too or something similar. :-) Maybe make a variation of the
dragon eggs usually made with jalapeno. ;-d
