Default To hypoglycemic and/or diabetic, would you share your tips/info with me (w.r.t needing to very early morning while still needing to sleep)?

Then let me be very clear. I took metformin for many years, developed
an increasing creatinine level and was sent to a nephrologist. He
declared that metformin is a bad drug, hard on the kidneys, and wanted
it removed. That opinion was confirmed by the Johns Hopkins
nephrologist who now sees me.
I take a different drug

You might be surprised when you see how much the strips are going for now,
despite relatively affordable prices on the meters themselves. That's how
they getcha! Ask your doctor for a prescription for both the meter and
strips and then you can get it covered by your insurance.

What do you take?

I was glad to read this as I was seriously considering going back on
Metformin for weight loss. My Dr. prescribes it to all of her over
weight patients with insulin resistance.
