Certainly, it is harmless. > (snip) You might be surprised when you see how much the strips are going for now, despite relatively affordable prices on the meters themselves. That's how they getcha! Ask your doctor for a prescription for both the meter and strips and then you can get it covered by your insurance. Jinx |

I was glad to read this as I was seriously considering going back on Metformin for weight loss. My Dr. prescribes it to all of her over weight patients with insulin resistance. -- Peace!
