I thought you were "done chatting" with me?

But I'll be polite and answer your question: It tends to avoid copyright
lawsuits. And IME, you don't even have to copy and paste the whole recipe
here either - because it's just one click away from the original source
for any interested parties to view if they so wish. Another advantage - if
one only posts the link, it makes posts shorter too, which some folks seem
to appreciate.

BTW, you might want to read the "Terms of Use" on the Betty Crocker
website - it states that all their content is "copyrighted" too.
