Our Kroger (King Soopers) stores had it advertised for $1.68/gallon last week. Half gallons were cheaper than quarts! gloria P |

You could say the same for just about any single food. Chocolate is not necessary in an adult diet. Fish is not necessary in an adult diet. Lettuce is not necessary, either. Some people eat for pleasure. Shoot, I drink milk for the protein if the rest of the meal is a little light. BLT and a glass of milk. It's what's for dinner. Cindy Hamilton |

I personally think the huge consumption of sugared sodas/soft drinks is a major contributor to the obesity epidemic. -- Peace! Never had a problem. But Louise drinks way too much so a gallon never lasts 5 days. I drink maybe 8 oz. every couple days. Lou |

Actually, my point was that I felt it was no longer worth the price they were asking for it. :-) He was bitching about the cost. I feel that prime beef is not worth the cost except as maybe a birthday treat either. If someone is purchasing milk just for the "health benefits", supplements are cheaper. If you are buying it for the pleasure of drinking it, carry on and pay the price! -- Peace!
