If you are not going to read the post, then don't respond, as simple
as that. And what's with people talking about buying dad's buying
vookies. Seriously, do you know any Asian who grew up with cookies as
you know it? I have not bought, NOT even once any cookies. If I buy
anything wiht that kind of sugar level, it's cake. And I haven't
bought any in a long time. I am planning to make one, to take it to
the kids of a friend.

Sheesh, well stay far, far away from those 'vookies' then. You haven't
OD'd on glucose tablets yet?

Does it make you feel good to assume that I take glucose tablets like
you take are candies? I understand that you do nto understand that for
people like me who are brought up on freshly made well-balanced food
on daily basis, it would take many life times to take pills as a
habit. So the glucose tablet bottle stayed unattended and in fact was
neglected.

I see that you're trying to get attention through my posts. That's OK
with me; I am pretty generous.

It was a momentary lapse...... but I went to church today and once again
I have Seen The Light.

Could have been worse. I could have lapsed on a Monday morning and
spent an entire week before finding salvation! <vbg>

We are Unitarian Universalists. Lots of boobs..... and rubes and some
people who are so square that they could be called cubes. We also have
an assortment of odd-wads, hippies, free-thinkers, anarchists, atheists,
witches, warlocks and even a few lawyers.

All are welcome... even the lawyers.

Yeah, I knew that (both). My wife is in Minnie Soda this week for the
national convention. She's having a great time.

ObFood: She's eating in a college dorm. OK but not great.

<smacking forehead> That's right... I forgot you are a UU too. Nice
bunch of people at our church, very eclectic. Hard to be a bastion of
liberal thought in the Deep South. <vbg>

We visited a UU congregation is Brownsville, TX a few months ago. They
have 8 permanent members and in the winter, maybe 30 more retiree's
attend (Winter Texans). It was very interesting.

Nice to see you here, Peaches. George has not told what he really saw
in church. He could tell it, if he didn't mention any names.

Well, I suppose that would fit into the food category. If I remeber
correctly, didn't George Carlin describe them as a snack of some
sort, "Tater Tits"?

Not exactly. "Tits" was one of the "seven words you can't say on the air"
routine, and he said, "Tits doesn't sound like a bad word, it sounds like a
snack. Tater tits!"
