And a damn fine baker‹'ve had the privilege of tasting some of her product. There's another woman who has won more ribbons and accolades that Marjorie, but she doesn't do many (any?) media gigs. Marjorie likes to talk to the press; Elaine doesn't. Cow? Not so much. She's about 4'10" tall and might weigh 95 pounds. She's got her schtick -- a red housedress straight from the 1940s and a hairdo of about that era, too. Good media material. -- Barb, Mother Superior, HOSSSPoJ On June 25, celebrating 65 years of joy and wonder. I got the joy while everyone else wondered. |

Canning, jamming, breadmaking, pie and cake baking (did you say they have done away with the brownie category--too orgasmic or sumthin'?) I think this winter you should perfect a recipe for pureed-beet chocolate cake. Wouldn't that leave 'em all in the dust? gloria p |

She keeps copious notes. I just do what I do. Alex knows there's no money in it. I always figure I'm doing well if my prize check covers what I spend on sugar. It usually doesn't. :-) > > I think this winter you should perfect a recipe for pureed-beet > chocolate cake. Wouldn't that leave 'em all in the dust? > > gloria p Like that's going to happen.
