Default Two week to the Southern Cal Cook-in!

July 31 will be the 60th day of my trip. If my relief shows up on August 1
and I can get a flight out that same day, I could conceivably make it to the
cook-in.

IIRC, Squeaks lives in Laguna Niguel. I wonder if I can find a suite in the
vicinity with a full kitchen so I can do baking prep the night before.

Is the "Southern" theme still in place for the cook-in, or has it been
abandoned?

Bob

That's why I asked about the Southern theme. If I *can* make it, and there's
a Southern theme, this is what I came up with using the recipes I have here
on my laptop:

* Country captain pot pie with a spoonbread topping

* Grilled chicken with tomato relish and South Carolina barbecue sauce

* Pimento cheese burgers

* Honeydew-cucumber salad with lemon-mint vinaigrette

* Roasted green beans with red onion and walnuts

The e-mail bounced, even with the "cox" correction. :-(

I e-mailed Christine also; maybe she can forward it to you.

You need to change the spambot.com to spambot.net or change your
instructions.

Jaysus! How did I miss that? It's been on there for 9 years, since I
switched from a .com to a .net ISP. The devil's in the details.
