Bert, I've had a look at Gun Control Australia's web site and they have this list as a Press Release (see below). I presume all the other dribble posted by Peter Lucas is also to be found on this site too. Chris How Dangerous are American Gun Extremists? Posted on January 3, 2010 It seems that some gun owners in the USA (and perhaps Australia) believe that gun ownership may be used to challenge governments in a hostile manner. It also seems to us that gun extremist groups (groups that want little or no controls on gun ownership) in the US, such as the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) will not clearly condemn those who have such ideas. GCA urges all Australians who are concerned about the possibility of this occurring in the US (or even Australia) to study the recently published US book, 'Guns, Democracy and the Insurrectionist Idea'. The authors are two lawyers, Josh Horwitz and Casey Anderson. Details about this book are shown on the American website of the 'Coalition to Stop Gun Violence' (www.csgv.org). http://guncontrol.org.au/ |

Abundant evidence exists on TPG, where many dribblers have stated EXACTLY that. > It also seems to us that gun extremist groups (groups that want little or > no > controls on gun ownership) in the US, such as the National Rifle > Association > (NRA) and the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) will not clearly condemn > those who have such ideas. **It would seem so. -- Trevor Wilson www.rageaudio.com.au |

This the one the OP appears to have been referring too. Note how the GCA have failed to state which shooter groups they are referring to. This appears to be just another example of miss information and mud slinging by the GCA, which in my opinion is their normal behaviour. Press Release The Dangers to Australia of Gun Extremism Posted on May 26, 2010 We in Gun Control Australia believe that it is profoundly unwise to be associated with organizations that preach the possibility of insurrection against an elected government. We are worried, therefore, that some shooter groups in Australia remain associated with such extremist American groups. We introduced our concern about this matter in our 3 January 2010 website entry. The Washington based 'Violence Policy Center' examined the dangers of gun extremism in an April 2010 report titled: http://guncontrol.org.au/ |
