I try to remember to mention it; but they usually have their own agenda
and a word limit. <grin> I can't tell them what to write.

Thanks, Fleece. Try making maybe a third and storing it in the fridge
after cooking.

Seen by me not such things. Overwhelming for friend of distance in joy
and happiness. I cry for happy, jar of strawberry jam tears in.

Well-deserved accolades for our Jam Lady, of course! Because of the crappy
bandwidth here I didn't look either, but I can read what others wrote in
response. You seem to lack that ability. Is intermittent illiteracy common
in your non-branching family tree?

The difference between your offensive blog-shilling behavior and Barb's
link-posting here is twofold:

1. The links she posted were from actual news stories, not from a personal
self-promoting attention-whore site like your tawdry little diary.

2. Barb writes POSTS WITH REAL CONTENT here. You do not.

"Sir, you have no call to get snippy with me,. . . ." * Marge Gunderson

If you insist:

Biggest difference/s between your link and mine? There's nothing in the
link you posted that offers a clue to its contents other than that it is
a photograph. In the three that I posted, it's pretty easy to discern
that the first one has something to do with me and jam; the second one
offers the clue that it's about *somebody's* state fair, and (by virtue
of the subject line of this post) that there's something about me in it;
and it's pretty obvious the third one is a recipe for corn relish.

His site is very very slow for me. I did go there twice but I won't
bother again.

Oh, just let him sulk. I think it's funny. He really does seem to expect
people to fall all over themselves praising him for posting his blog links
here, and he is completely unable to fathom the difference between his
link-posting and Barb's link-posting. And now he's all sullen because we
haven't all gone to his blog and expressed adoration of it.

I don't remember seeing any links or even a mention of a link back

else?

That was going back a year or more. At that time, I was posting MY
menus in an artful and creative way. It disturbed many and the
insecure came out of the woodwork condemning.

It didn't take long to learn that if you post a recipe, there will be
"the vicious six" of RFC that could belittle, berate, and just
generally **** all over any recipe if you didn't fit into the
"clique". I could accept that....I remember third grade and later
tenth grade. Immaturity can run the gamut from youth to old farts in
the "home". Funny how those milestones stick in your mind....

But I digress. A renewed interest in photography, guidance from my
son, a professional photographer, (I know where he got his talent)
began my adventure in photographing food. He is a portraiture artist,
but he gave me many tips and hints using a SLR digital. A whole new
world opened and I knew at that point, I needed to start learning HTML
and how to create a blog...the be all and end all of displaying good
food and recipes. Now I find this medium (usenet) so 1980's...if
you know what I mean. Geez....can't even click on a link without
ruffling feathers. <vbg>

Since that time I have never looked back and enjoy a thousand hits per
month with people that actually enjoy my photos, recipes and general
good fun that we have. Join me sometime.

Back then you called it the "Savage Gang Of Seven" but you never stated who
they were. Counting skills degraded these past few years? Bless your heart!

Nah, that's too harsh. Sure, you know how to cook *some* things. But you
don't branch out, and the idea of monotony -- which you seem to PRIZE -- is
horrifying to me.
