Default teriyaki sauce

I didn't realize when I gave away my sake from a recent trip to Japan,
that I could make tariyake sauce with it. So I retrieved the Sake
from my non-drinking daughter and plan to make this sauce tonight with
salmon.

21/2 Tbsp sugar
3 Tbs soy sauce
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp sake

Marinate salmon for 10 mins., then dust with cornstarch. Saute salmon
in oil and butter, pour leftover sauce and simmer. Top with lemon
peel. e.

That works. Guess I just wanted an excuse to get my Sake back!!! e.
