Some friends are coming over for dinner. The appetizer will be
tortilla chips, guacamole and salsa. For dinner, we are having pork tamales, chicken enchiladas, refried beans and Spanish rice. I am not sure what to make for dessert. Something easy might be nice. Any suggestions? Becca |

Doesn't sound like much, but it's delicious and welcomed after a heavy meal. Image - http://0.tqn.com/d/moroccanfood/1/0/...h-cinnamon.JPG You could serve the orange slices with cookies (like Mexican Wedding Cookies), but you don't have to. And you KNOW it sucks, but you inflict it on your family anyway. Hey, just for kicks: Does this look familiar? "Modified Food Starch, Maltodextrin, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate and Disodium Phosphate (For Thickening), Contains less than 2% of Nonfat Milk, Natural Flavor, Salt, Calcium Sulfate, Xanthan Gum, Mono- and Diglycerides (Prevent Foaming), Aspartame and Acesulfame Potassium (Sweeteners), Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Artificial Color." That is the ENTIRE list of ingredients for your vaunted lemon pudding, and it's in order of most to least prevalence in the product. Do you just ****ing HATE your family, or what? Bob |

Almost hedonistic and decadent. And there's nothing like some ice cream to put out the fire of spicy foods and leave the palate with a "plateau effect", as in Masters and Johnson. Ice milk, frozen yogurt, or Italian ice as a supplement. Steve visit my blog at http://cabgbypasssurgery.com Get a free book from our trillions available for download before they're gone! ;-) |

I have been thinking about doing a shortcake or a cobbler, or maybe a pie. I haven't quite decided how to work the Amaretti in though. -- Jean B. |

I haven't made a decision yet, so I am still thinking it over. I will take pictures. Becca |
