When a food contains less than a gm of salt per serving (or some small amount) labeling with "0 sodium is permited, but somewhere the actual salt content should be listed. Tomtoes are naturally low in salt but they are not salt free. There is no such thing as a no salt diet either... you'd soon be dead. |

It > tastes the same. I looked at this site: http://www.logcabinsyrups.com/products.html It claimed that the change was "removing high fructose corn syrup and replacing it with real sugar". Of course, that could well mean that it used to be mostly corn syrup, and now it's still mostly corn syrup. -- Dan Abel Petaluma, California USA |

Incorrect. Most foods have natural amounts of sodium. Not all foods have salt (sodium chloride) added nor do they need to.
