Apple Brown Betty
 

I haven't made this dessert in ages... and my daughter just requested it.

Stale bread cubes, apples, sugar, spices, butter... am I missing anything?
I forget if one bakes it covered or not?

The only thing I remember clearly is the hard sauce we always served
with it.

The kids will all be home for supper Thursday- so it's going to be a
baked glazed ham, corn pudding, scalloped potatoes, hericot vertes and
this brown betty for dessert.

Yay for family dinners!! I cry for happy!
