Default Western Stew

WESTERN CASSEROLE
1 lb. Ground beef , browned
1 1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can (14 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1 can (10 oz.) tomato soup
1 cup shredded cheese

1/2tsp. Butte Creek Mill chili powder
Cornmeal biscuits for top (recipe below)
Mix all ingredients in 2 1/2 quart casserole pan
Bake uncovered at 400 for 25 minutes
Meanwhile mix up cornmeal biscuits.

Cornmeal Biscuits:
1/2 cup Butte Creek Mill Unbleached Flour
1/2 cup Butte Creek Mill Cornmeal
1 tsp Butte Creek Mill Non-Aluminum Baking Powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 sour cream

Combine dry ingredients. Beat egg, milk, and sour cream until smooth.
Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Drop by spoonfuls onto
hot casserole. Bake, uncovered 20-25 minutes more.
