I know that's how it is anymore, and I shouldn't bother.

Exactly. I started buying the big boxes because the supermarkets
don't even sell packs of big candy bars anymore. So I have
increasingly stale candy bars over the next few months, that's
okay. A handful will go into the freezer today.
